Yeah. That’s Dierks Bentley

So is that.

And that.

This was so much fun. Even though it took us 3 hours to get there, it was totally worth it. Apparently Tim McGraw was there earlier in the day but I missed it. I’m not a huge country fan but these artists really put on a great show for a great cause.

Hope Center car wash 8.12
August 13, 2009

Guys of the Hope Center in Lexington held a free car wash to raise money from donations to take a trip out of Lexington. According to Cecil Dunn – Executive Director of the Hope Center, “Everyday, the Hope Center provides emergency shelter, food and clothing to homeless people, but it is much more than just a shelter. We are a comprehensive social service agency delivering a variety of programs to help people get off the street and stay off the street. We do that with the help of thousands of people in this community and beyond.”

my favorite…..
So a place called Henkel Denmark Landscaping Co. decided to conduct a community volunteering project that consisted of sending employees to different local schools around Lexington to clean up and enhance the landscaping around the school in time for the students. It was completely free…pretty cool aye?
Side note: the first picture has nothing to do with the landscaping besides the fact that I took it while walking to my car. Just thought it was interesting.
